Born in the Auvergne region (France), and more specifically in the city of Clermont-Ferrand, I have lived and studied there until my high school graduation. In 2009, after getting my scientific baccalaureate diploma, I left Auvergne to join the post-baccalaureate curriculum in UTC (Université de Technologie de Compiègne), an engineering school in the Picardie region. There, I took generalist engineering prep classes for two years, followed by three years of Génie Informatique (Computer Engineering).
For my last semester of classes before the internship, I have been to Japan 6 months as a foreign exchange student in 2014. I had the chance to work at the CIT (Chiba Institute of Technology) in Chiba prefecture, near Tokyo. I've spent these few months in full immersion, and had the opportunity to work in a computer science lab at the CIT. My research and development work was in English with the lab professors and the Master students, but the rest of my daily life was in Japanese. I loved this experience and it allowed me to make huge progress in learning the language, way beyond the Japanese classes I already took back in UTC. There's nothing like total immersion!
I was already passionate about Japan at the time, and I still am: whether culturally, anthropologically or linguistically.
Once this semester was over, I left Compiègne and moved to Lyon for my one-semester end of studies internship at Worldline. After this intership, I got hired and then worked at Worldline from 2015 to 2019.
In March 2019, I left Worldline and joined Cosmo Tech, where I'm still working as of today!
